share Tally Prime Company Folder to CA or Anyone else
Hello Friends
Here are the steps to share the Tally prime company Folder with C.A. (Chartered Accountant).
To do So,
Steps
1. Open Your Tally Erp 9 or Tally Prime.
2. If there is any company is open press Alt +F1 to Shut down the Company
3. After Shutting down the Company You Will See the Company Code (Written Opposite of the Company Name like below Fig no.1

4. After Getting the Company code. Click on file Explorer i.e My Computer option
5. In My Computer/This Pc Click on This Pc Option Available in File Explorer.
6. After Clicking This Pc You will See Your Drive Like C:\, D:\, E:\ Etc. Click on C:\ Drive.
7. In C:\Drive Double Click on User Folder.
8. In User Folder Double Click on Public Folder.
9. In Public Folder Double Click on Tally Prime Folder.
11.So as we all know that we cannot share folders so now we have to Compress the file. For compressing the file Just click on the folder that you want to compress and right click with the mouse and go to the option Send To. In Send To Option You will Find the Compressed(Zipped)Folder option click on it and you will see your Compressed file is ready.
12. For Your Convenience CUT and PASTE the file in your regular folder like in D:\ drive. After doing this Send this file to your C.A Via E-mail, WhatsApp, or others
13. C. A Will Extract this file by using WinRAR Application, WinZip Application, etc.
14. After Extracting Save this file in C:\User\Public\Tally Prime\Data or anywhere You want to save it. one important note while saving this file in C:\ Drive check whether a duplicate does not exist. if exits check the last folder number if the last folder number is 10020 then your file name with 10021.
15. Now open Your Tally prime and in Specify Path Type the address of the file for example you have saved your file in D:\Shiva
Now here your file is sent or received.
